🌸[Discover The Story]There is a lot to this games story, it is one of the BIGGSET parts of this game!!! I also must put- THIS GAME IS NOT MEANT FOR CHILDREN -It looks very nice and honestly the first chapter might seem like a very PG game, but it has a lot of themes that can be considered on the darker side. It is hard to get into it without spoilers - but I will be posting some spoilers on the Patreon. This story has been lovingly brought to life through many of my dreams at night that seem to follow a storyline. (I know that sounds weird but I really can appreciate my vivid dreams!)So that being, I hope you can enjoy this game and see it for what I see it as - something special and unique![Exploring]In this game you will be exploring this world by following the paths set out in front of you - since this is a story telling game. I wanted to make this world linear so the story can fully be absorbed. There are currently 5 unique areas (which without giving too many spoilers) include the first town by the sea, a beautiful golden sky island, a deep purple fae area and more!🌸[Meet New Characters]As a fan of many different animes such as Madoka Magica, Serial Experiments Lain and Higurashi When They Cry - Not all characters will be as they seem. You will be able to see the depth behind each character and feel their emotions so that you really get a feel for who they are (at least I would hope).🌸[Puzzles]A core system of this game is puzzles - different puzzles will unlock things called "memory fragments" which can be used in battle - there are other ways to get these memory fragments such as through combat or other means throughout the story, but a big part of it is learning through puzzles! I will try to make them unique and fun and not too tedious🌸

COMBAT - HOW IT WORKS -🌸Combat in this game is unique and will take probably the most time to make for one element of the game. Fair warning - you will learn how combat works when you finish the first zone. It is a unique style of combat I am currently working on making. To explain it as simply as I can but it will be easier to understand in game. It goes as such: Combat follows a traditional turn-based structure, but each turn is divided into two very different phases. Rather than attacking immediately, the battle begins with the enemy acting first. During this phase you will get the groove of how to move and survive attacks in real time by moving around the battlefield. However... Not everything that you see is the truth - Every enemy creates a unique "memory puzzle" where-in the battlefield fills with objects, projectiles, hazards and visual effects ... but the twist on this is, you may be thinking "avoid everything" However this is not true in all cases!!! There will be attacks that require you to do different things - such as stand inside specific projectiles, move towards what seems like danger rather than running away, discovering hidden safe zones. Use SE (Soul Energy) to use CHECK and other attacks. Without CHECK there may be phases where everything looks dangerous, however with CHECK you can spot different patterns within the real time combat where mechanics will become clearer the more carefully you observe them. Once you have survived the enemies turn, it is time for you to fight back.
There are three kind of attacks that you can choose from: Light, Heavy and SS (Or Soul Surge). Each attack costs or builds SE (or Soul Energy) Light attacks build SE but are generally weaker. Heavy attacks will use SE but are more powerful and SS (Soul Surge) attacks can only be used once. There are many abilities you can choose from that fit in those categories so making a unique build is completely possible!
Instead of simply selecting Attack, every strike becomes a short rhythm sequence.
There are many possible and random combos so be aware.Light attacks will start with two "Given" buttons (for instance on P.C. it uses buttons such as A B C D or Z) and then one random button you must quickly click. It will look like this (example):Light attack: A B _ STRIKE
Heavy attack: Z D _ _ STRIKE
SS attack: B C _ _ _ STRIKE
(the _'s are randomized and will show up in the moment - so quickly press them!!!You can either have a Perfect, Great, Good or Miss.Sorry if all that was confusing! That's why I put it in its own section and it will be described better when you actually can play it and see it in real time haha..!

This is a passion project - There is no current release date and its only me (sourLemonz) who is working on the development side of the game. I have several AMAZING artists that have also worked on this game - and I am trying to credit them all.
All the art is custom made (except for some very small items that I got off itch which may be replaced later) and has been tailored over the years to be a unique, amazing and wonderfully crafted by these wonderful and hardworking artists!!I can't my two main artists the most - who aren't just artists but also grew to be some of my closet friends!They truly believe in my dream and work hard to help me achieve it!!! Honestly, I couldn't thank them more if I tried haha!It might take a while but I truly think this game could go far so believe in me!But there might be a few mistakes along the way - I am really trying to have it be as perfect as possible, but sometimes that is difficult when I am new at this game development stuff. Its been my dream for a so so long now - and I will see it through to the end and I promise you an amazing heartfelt story that will tug at your very soul!I absolutely am pouring my heart into this game - heck - who knows it might be the next Undertale :D
